For years you have been on the other side: the rider, the one the bikes are built for. We are asking you to sit on this side too. Not instead of racing — alongside it.

From October, part-time, every afternoon in Montichiari.

Where we are

There are two of us. Romolo handles design, building and every technical decision. Erica handles everything else: sales, content, quotes, orders, suppliers, shipping, customer care.

It works, and it is the ceiling. Everything that grows from here needs a third person in the room.

We would rather that person already knows what a bike has to do, and that we already trust them.

A bike that costs us eight hours of admin today should cost three.
where the other five go
Into restarts. An order gets picked up and put down ten times, and each time you have to remember where you left it.
Why afternoons, every dayFragmentation is not beaten with more hours. It is beaten with continuous presence: someone who is there every day at the same time.

A role that spans both ends

Our structure has two figures. The Insider — Marco's role — who captures the projects, produces content, runs rides and events, and opens the conversation with whoever comes forward. The Gregario, who follows the bikes from suppliers to build, tests prototypes and carries the technical voice at races.

We are asking you to span everything between the two

Not because the two roles are the same thing: because at this stage you need both to understand the company, and we need both to get through the autumn. Someone who only does supply chain never meets a client. Someone who only does content has no idea what a delivery costs.

The insider end
Content, rides, events, first contact. Marco's world, which you share with him.
The middle
The technical and sporting voice towards the client. Where the two meet — and where you are stronger than anyone else here.
The gregario end
Testing and development, supply chain, deliveries, the channel to riders at races.
LaterAs the structure grows, the span splits back into two distinct roles. Where you sit then is partly your call, based on what you discover you prefer.

The insider end

This is Marco's territory, and for a few months you share it. Not because two people are needed to do the same thing, but because the autumn is dense and because you bring something he does not have: you are a real racer, and it shows.

You are not the one editing the videos. You are the one who makes the things worth filming happen, and who explains what is going on while it is going on.
rides and events
The outings at the Land, the open days, the stops outside Montichiari. With you at the front they carry a different weight.
first contact
When someone raises a hand, the first answer can be yours. Not a pitch: the right questions.
The boundaryProduction, editing and the daily running of the channels stay with Marco. You enter as content and as a voice, not as the newsroom.

The gregario end

following the bikes
From the moment a bike is sold and designed until it is ready: suppliers, frame parts, welding, then the build — groupset, components, wheels. Chasing, checking, holding the dates. This is the part that changes things immediately.
testing and reporting back
Prototypes: frames, forks, bars, wheels, positions. Not a general verdict but structured feedback that re-enters the design and changes it.

The rider is not the last person to try a finished bike

The rider is the specification document the bike comes from. You already do this. The difference is that it becomes work, and you learn to turn sensations into parameters.

at races
Talking to other riders as a peer. Letting someone try something, opening a contact, bringing signals back from the field. It has already happened with you, and no salesperson can do it.

Racing

You keep racing. That is not a concession: it is part of why we want you.

We are looking at registering a road team of our own, so you can also race here in Italy. A way to stay sharp, stay visible, and be part of what happens on the road as well as on the track.

If you register with us, you race on one of our bikes and that bike tells its own story. But registering is an option, not a condition of the job.

Your calendar comes firstWe know winter is the six-day season and that November and December have their own commitments. The afternoons are afternoons when you are in Montichiari, not an obligation that competes with your season.
how we write it
If a week is a racing week, it is a racing week. We would rather put that in writing now than discover it in November.

What this is not

We are not paying you to race

The pay is for the work: following the bikes, testing, talking to clients, logistics. This is not a sponsorship, not an athlete's contract, and we are not funding your season.

But your racing is not a private matter we tolerate around the job. It is what makes the rest possible: the relationships, the field-level learning, the credibility, the feel for what a bike has to do. That is worth something to us, and it is why the role has this shape and not another.

To put it even more plainly: if you are looking for someone to pay for your season, that is not us. If you are looking for work that draws value from your season and gives you back competence, then let's talk.

Working next to the person who designs, understanding why a change produces a certain sensation, learning to say it in numbers. It is not learned anywhere else and it takes years — which is why we are proposing it now and not in five years.
access to all of it
Not a corner. The projects, the clients, the method, the mistakes.
a place and a language
Montichiari, the workshop, and Italian spoken all day. You are already studying it: three months here beat a year of lessons.
the phase after
In parallel we are closing an investment operation that funds the next five years. When it closes, this role becomes a defined position in the plan — and there is a possibility, if you want it, of a shareholding. We will discuss it openly at the right moment.

How it works in practice

October → December
Phase one. Part-time, paid for the work you do. The simplest arrangement is that you invoice us from the Netherlands: it costs neither of us anything to set up and it can be changed at any time.
From January
Once the operation closes, we define the stable form: hours, contract, and everything that comes with being here properly.
In between
We help with the practical side of being in Italy: where to live, how to get set up.
Why light at the startWe would rather start clean and light than build something now that we would have to take apart in January.

What we ask of you

Not enthusiasm. A serious look at whether this is a road you want to be on.

The first months are an investment on both sides: we put in time, method and access; you put in the will to build something that outlasts the racing. It only makes sense if we both see it as long.

And tell us plainly what does not work. The afternoons, the months, the race calendar, the money — all of it is a starting point for a conversation, not a closed offer.
